Procedure: What is the individual production of plastic gears?
In contrast to mass production using an injection molding process, at Wefapress® we attach great importance to the possibility of individual production of gears according to your personal wishes and specifications.
The manufacturing process for plastic gears is as follows:
Step 1
If you are interested, please send us an inquiry including an idea, sketch or technical drawing of the desired gear, the required quantity and the preferred material.
Step 2
We check your inquiry for feasibility and, if necessary, discuss technical features, optimization options or material selection. We will then send you the corresponding offer for the order.
Step 3
After acceptance of the offer by you Wefapress® manufactures the gear wheel. Your drawing and any special features discussed for production in accordance with DIN ISO 2768 form the basis for this. The gear is then manufactured from the semi-finished product using a CNC program, special tools and the expertise our employees have acquired over the years on modern machinery for machining plastics.
Inspections during production and a final inspection ensure proper manufacture.

You can obtain plastic gears from us in various materials, for example you can choose between different thermoplastics such as PE-UHMW / St 1000®, POM or PA – in pure or modified form. You can also obtain gears made of PE-UHMW / St 1000® plastic from us in a wide range of colors.
