The Wefapress® “screw machine” in the Fördertechnik Adventure Museum!

The Wefapress® trade show exhibit “Screw Machine” has recently been installed at the Erlebnismuseum Fördertechnik in Sinsheim, Germany. In keeping with the museum’s motto: “Play – Tinker – Learn,” a start button in Wefapress® green invites visitors to set the machine in motion and learn to understand the screw conveyor principle with the help of colorful plastic balls.

“We are very pleased with this donation from Wefapress,” says Konstantin Eck, educational director of the museum in Sinsheim. “This exhibit is a real eye-catcher and impressively demonstrates what modern conveyor technology in industry looks like with the help of plastic screw conveyors. Exactly what an experience museum is all about!”

Nobby explains the Wefapress® auger machine.

“Nobby”, the interactive, self-propelled robot, has stored the most important facts about the Wefapress® screw machine on its hard drive. He accompanies young and old visitors to the individual exhibits in the Fördertechnik Adventure Museum and can tell them something about each exhibit!

Learning to understand the principle of conveyor technology

Our screw machine is in the best of company in the Conveyor Technology Experience Museum founded by Norbert Axmann in 2012: many interesting exhibits from the field of conveyor technology are displayed in three large halls – from the historical to the modern. From simple pulleys to conveyors, from mail/parcel sorting machines to pallet conveyors and pneumatic tube systems.

“The Wefapress® exhibit adds another interesting piece to our exhibition, through which school classes and technical schools can also gain an insight into the possibilities of conveyor technology,” says Konstantin Eck happily, and in return presents Wefapress® sales manager Markus Voß with four vouchers for admission tickets as a thank you, which we will soon be giving away on Facebook .

Incidentally, Wefapress® conveyor and transport screws are used as individual plastic parts in mechanical and plant engineering, in the food and beverage industry, and in conveyor technology and automation.
