The antistatic plastic for the food and pharmaceutical industries

Especially in production and conveying systems for sensitive materials – for example in the food industry or the pharmaceutical industry – high electrostatic voltages must be avoided to protect the products. However, friction during transport may cause charging. Not so with the innovative PharmaStat. The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) provides controlled drainage for safe operation.

At the same time, PharmaStat brings a high lubricity. Thanks to its low coefficient of friction and low abrasion, the antistatic plastic is particularly suitable for use where hygienically clean and fast transport is essential – for example in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products or products for the food industry. Whether sliding elements, screw conveyors or guide rails – your systems can be operated at a higher speed and thus more economically.
